The Eco House stands out for its unique properties. Nestled amidst beech and oak forests, horse riding meadows, and agricultural lands, the house's design is the result of a series of analyses. These studies focused on functional planning, division into day, night, technical, and working zones, and an analysis of solar radiation. The aim was to optimize solar gain and create interiors with proper natural light.
The house may not be expansive, but it boasts a spacious day zone that opens up to a height of 5 meters. Its main pride is a concrete wall and bearing mounting stairs. The design's realization technology is as impressive as its architecture. Simulations of the sun's positions at different times of the year allowed for the creation of a house layout and glass partition that maximizes heat gain in winter and reduces overheating in summer.
The Eco House utilizes energy-efficient Izodom technology to minimize heat loss, further emphasizing its commitment to sustainability. The house's design is not only a nod to eco-friendly living but also a testament to the power of innovative architectural design.
The Eco House has been recognized for its innovative design and commitment to sustainability. It was awarded the Bronze in A' Architecture, Building, and Structure Design Award in 2023. This prestigious award is bestowed upon outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness. Esteemed for incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology, these designs exhibit strong technical and creative skills and contribute to quality of life improvements.
In conclusion, the Eco House by Boguslaw Barnas is a shining example of sustainable residential design. Its unique architecture, innovative use of technology, and commitment to eco-friendly living make it a standout in the realm of modern architecture. The house's design serves as a reminder of the possibilities that arise when we harmonize our living spaces with nature.
